The creative pyramid provides an understanding of the different creative levels at which professionals who intend to focus their work on creation and innovation can operate.

Reaching the tip of the pyramid means reaching the highest level of creation and innovation; in other words, being able to blaze trails for others to follow.

Following the example shown in the conceptual map, it is easy to see that highest creative level was reached with the creation of the first omelette or puff pastry.

These elaborations have made it possible for the continuing creation of countless other dishes of all sorts.

Starting at a higher level, it is possible to create and even enhance the results of the parent creation with new nuances; however, in this case, it would be at a lower creative or innovative level.

This is why creativity is linked to your personality and, therefore, if you are in a creative occupation, you should ask yourself: what do you want to be? What level do you want to reach? The answer should be based on deep reflection, and it must be clear that aiming for the highest level involves skill and effort that only a very few can achieve.
