Great philosophical and scientific debates have raged for centuries concerning the question of deciding how many senses we have. Even now, we haven&#8217;t found a convincing answer to this controversy. Can we at least classify them? Do we know how they relate to each other? What is taste? These questions, and more besides, assail us.
