Our subject of study is wine in the context of the fine-dining restaurant. But do we really know what we mean by the word wine? What is the provenance of the word? What has been its semantic evolution?<\/p>\n
Sapiens, the research method we use to understand knowledge, will guide our research. This chapter will question the status quo and restate some everyday beliefs, contextualizing the object of our study.<\/p>\n
The chapter poses many thought-provoking and pertinent questions to help us understand better the current state of knowledge, offering us a unique vision of what we mean today by the word wine.<\/p>\n
