Movements are artistic, cultural and ideological manifestations of a given era that share a number of characteristics. To understand them it is fundamental to take the time and context from which they emerged into account. The wine that is known today as \u00abnatural wine\u00bb is very different from the product considered \u00abnatural\u00bb a hundred years ago. Herein lies the significance of the word \u00abmovement\u00bb, which is not static, but changes, as do people’s fashions, tastes and culture.<\/p>\n
In this chapter we review the different oenological movements (conventional, international, single vineyard, ecological, natural, minimal intervention and biodynamic) and conclude with a review of the latest tendencies by some of the luminaries of contemporary oenology, such as Jamie Goode and Sam Harrop MW (Master of Wine).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
